so im looking around for images of what certain parts of the world look like. Richard, one of these days you and I should get together and draw a map so its easier to navigate Silica and Turast.
In the mean time refer to the MS paint map i made not too long ago
The shale countryside is mostly plains with small towns and farms dotting its landscape. Here are some images

The Mak'shana swamp is where Esker comes from. It is a dark place with even darker creatures. It is an ugly place where everything has to fight to survive. The land is damp and harsh and it is very difficult to find any living space within it, which is why the Zealots of Alter live in a castle that floats over the swamp.

The forests which are dense and populated by the wood elves and various beasts. Here are a few images of it.
